[Don't cry old friend, I assume you are missing your story? I am in Turkey at the moment and have no compy and soon I'm returning to Ire for a few day and then traveling back to the USA. Bit mental at the mo. I'm waiting until I get settled in the US before continuing the story so that I can give proper updates daily again. How's you anyway?]

Of course, Mic's key! You reach into your back pocket and try the small key in the lock. With a wiggle, it fits and the padlock clicks open. You scan quickly for traps but it looks clear. With a loud creak, you jar the trapdoor open. Dust plumes from the opening. A stone staircase is revealed leading downwards into darkness.

A thought enters your mind.... If Mic padlocked the door shut, was he trying to keep people out? ..... Or someone/thing in? Why did Wilddog kill Mic and try to kill you? What part did Windy have to play? What is the memory you cannot recall of recent encounter with NaloaC? All these question swirl in your head and make your brain hurt.

You are standing at the trapdoor at the top of the stairway. What shall you do?

The padlock is what is sealing the door shut. [lol, guess the chain bit makes no sense!] It doesn't look like you could break it open and you realize you would need the key............ "hmmmm", you think... [do you want a hint?]

is their anyway i can move the chain
am not really sure what am looking at i think to my self as am pushing an poking
is a it a trap door with a padlock or a trapdore with a chain on it an the chain has a padlock
an some how the chain is stopping the trap door opening or not
or something i lean closer an ponder what am looking at
hopefully searching will bring about an answer to this precarious situation

[ok... things are mental here man, but a story I promised and a story you shall have]

You investigate the ruins. It looks as though it was once a small hut but now it is partially destroyed and without a rooftop. Inside there are some charred remains of furniture, nothing of interest or usable. However, something catches your eye - a glint of metal in the fireplace... You remove some charred wood from the stone fireplace to reveal a chain, wrapped up around a metal trapdoor -- bolted shut by a large padlock.......

{shiiiiit man, I'm sorry! Meant to tell you I was going away on a trip to Reims and wouldn't have inty access! I'm back ow so the story will continue tomorrow.

You tear off on the bike with Windy draped over the back. There are cracks of fire from the rifle as you scramble away through the trees. After about a mile, you slow down to a stop in a clearing. You look behind you and see Windy -- is dead! Shot in the back. The clearing is very distinct with some stone ruins. In all directions of the clearing you just see trees and no direction into the forest seems inviting.
